Food was good, service was good, nothing more than expected, or less than expected.

By far the best seafood restaurant in Polk county that I have tried. Small place good food and nice on point staff. The owner is on top of his game

French onion soup is very good.Fresh fish. Grouper in a bag.

My Daughter and I went and had lunch it was Awesome. Loved the atmosphere.

We are visiting from St. Augustine and went to Harry's Old Place for dinner. The bartender at our hotel highly recommended it. The atmosphere was warm and friendly. Customers were hugging staff as they came in and left the restaurant. The waitress was great with making appetizer recommendations and the manager came by to go over the entrees. The food was EXCELLENT! We could not have asked for a more enjoyable dining experience!

This lakeside seafood restaraunt with an unassuming name was a real dining delight. They have a large selection of fresh fish, all cooked to order in a variety of ways. We ordered two plates of alligator bites for appetizers, and they were a great way to start the meal, even the pickiest of our kids enjoyed them. There was plenty of selection for everyone, and the staff was extremely friendly and good with the kids. We closed out the place and didn't feel rushed as the final diners to leave. Highly reccomend!

Fantastic way to spend my birthday. Got there in time to still have the lunch menu, the grouper basket was the perfect size, had room to splurge on the peanut butter pie, delicious. Ryan was so good, so attentive. Great place.

Great place. Found by word of mouth. Read reviews, so I went to try it out. Was amazing. The food, view and staff were awesome. If you love seafood your gonna love this place. I'm going to make this place one of my go-toos.

Great service, thanks Ryan. Amazing food for sure. The wait wasnt bad for how busy they were. This is our go to anniversary spot but now we will make sure to visit more often. Always nice when you get to speak to the owner without it being because of a problem.

Everything amazing! Would have never thought how good it was. The escargot was great and had wonderful combination of stuffed mushroom with device. Maybe best baked oysters I ever had. No joke!

Harry's is located right on Lake Ned, in the caretakers house of an old citrus farm. I love their seafood, AND a dish not on the menu....the Luncheon steak. Order the red potatoes with melted butter on the side. If they offer cabbage with bacon, it is outstanding. Go early in the winter, as lines form quickly in order to eat at this jewel box of a restaurant. A favorite of lot's of out of town visitors and all locals.

Food was decent but have had better elsewhere. There was no background music which meant we could hear everyone's conversations. Slightly annoying. Not going back.

It was excellent!!! First time visit and everything we ordered was delicious and perfect. From the hostess to our waitress and manager, everyone was gracious and up on our every need. Will definitely go again and recommend to friends.

Great seafood. I had the broiled scallops done to perfection, they know how to cook seafood. First time there but not my last.

The food and service was nothing short of amazing. We had the escargot and mussels to start. They were cooked to perfection and so flavorful. Everything on the broiled combo was delicious. Best part were the scallops. Best I have had in a long time and prepared so well. My Mom had the prime rib and crabs. She couldn't have been more pleased. My kids were so happy with their goldfish at the start of the meal. Such a considerate touch for families. Our server Ryan was exceptional. He made great recommendations and was so very helpful and friendly. He never missed a beat on making sure our group was well taken care of! We will definitely be dining here again the next time we visit!!

This a great place to grab a piece of old Florida. It has a feel of a real Florida restaurant that has survived the test of time. It is understandable why they have been able to stand the test of time, great fish and seafood along with great customer service. Thank you for being a true Florida Restaurant!

Harrys old place, Should NOT be overlooked. Located on the lake with plenty of outside dining should weather allow. Inside you know you've entered a down to earth friendly restaurant that caters to showcasing the Local catch.

This place is a local family owned restaurant near legoland Florida and I have to say, "everything was awesome" I mean the food seems to be prepared from scratch, my kids had fried shrimp which was fresh hand breaded shrimp they even took the tails off for the kids. My wife had the Broiled red snapper and I had the broiled seafood comb. Both were cooked perfectly. We tried the alligator bites and the coconut cream pie both of which were unbelievable. The staff was super friendly and accommodating we had to wait to be seated but it was well worth it. I only wish I lived close to here I would definitely come often. I highly recommend this place.

Amazing food, great value, and super friendly service. Had classics such as alligator bites, grouper and key lime pie. Everything was delicious. The cocktails are also house made and great.

This place is great! If you want a solid selection of seafood in a comfy, old-school setting, this is a great place to go. I'm especially fond of the fresh catch options on the chalk boards. I find it disappointing when you go to a Florida seafood restaurant that doesn't have fish that come from local waters, but that doesn't seem to be the case here.Parking can be challenging, because the lot is tiny and this place gets really busy. I'd suggest going for dinner at about 7pm, because most of the seniors/snowbirds have cleared out by then, and maybe you can find a parking space. Btw get the fried cheese curds.... They serve them with garlic butter!! 😍

Really liked this place.....we were here on vacation and tried it because of it’s ratings. I had the fried shrimp, my friend had the combo plate with shrimp, scallops, clams, fish & oysters. They allowed her to substitute extra scallops for the oysters. Our hubbies had the fish & chips. My shrimp were delicious, lighted breaded so you could taste the shrimp. The guys liked the fish flavor but were disappointed they were just thin pieces as opposed to nice fillets, and the fries were mediocre. My friend’s combo plate was good with the exception of the scallops. They were tasteless, she thought possibly frozen. Our server, Ryan, was very good, friendly & joked a bit, very attentive. It took quite a while to get our food but it was very crowded and we weren’t in any hurry. Overall we would definitely go back.

Such a cool place. Good food, decent prices, great atmosphere being right on a lake, and the peanut butter pie is AMAZING. We had a great waitress, named Kayla, she was so friendly and attentive to my 5 year old who wanted to be her new best friend. Only "issue" is parking can be tight.

Expect to wait- the food is well worth it. Daily specials are amazing.

A group of eight people came here for the first time in December 2019. The food was totally awesome!! The food was excellent and the staff was very accommodating. We all said we would definitely be returning. Kudos to the kitchen and staff!

My wife and I have eaten there several times. The seafood is always freshly prepared and delicious. We travel from the west side of Lakekand. It is worth the trip. Sitting at the back of the restaurant looking out at the lake just enhances the dining experience.

A hidden treasure!! It's not fancy but the food was delicious. There were four at our table and all were very happy with their meal. We definitely will return. Our waitress was outstanding service was quick food was served hot. What more can I say?

Great excellent I came from Miami to visit my Godmother and went by there and saw the place. Next day we went the food was excellent. Seafood fresh, the alligator bites, the onion soup, Steaks . You feel like home everyone was very pollite, very friendly. They explain very well the menu. If I could give them more stars 100%. Can't wait to come back to eat there again. God bless them. Very disappointed in service and food. Took my family for dinner out. Waited a very long time to get food. Restaurant was not busy. My daughter and son-in-law frequent this place at least a couple times a month. Daughters haddock very greasy and could not eat. Son-in-law’s swordfish not good. Special sauce we paid extra for was nothing but melted butter. Hush puppies were not served with meal and when served could not eat because they were way overcooked We were there on December 15th. Totally disappointed as we were so looking forward to a good dinner. Bill came to $106.38.

It was just ok. Maybe I should have ordered one of the fish off the board. The crab legs were over cooked. I'm used to eating seafood from the gulf , the beach and New Orleans, and there was a huge difference. The shrimp was very appetizing. They were packed and the service was okay, no refills offered and the server forgot something I ordered. Must be a local favorite. 3.5 stars.

While in town for Legoland, we sought out something local and luckily found Harry's. Off the beaten path, Harry's has a great selection of fresh seafood to rival anywhere I've eaten. The gator bites were great for an appetizer and the Harry in the Bag dish was great (fresh grouper cooked in a brown paper bag with pecans and seasonings). We will definitely be back there when in town the next time.

Harry's is one of our favorite neighborhood seafood places. The fish is always fresh and prepared the way you want it. I wasn't very adventurous this night and got the fried shrimp. Large shrimp, butterflied with tails on. 9-10 in the order, with my choice of cheese grits and salad, hush puppies are always served. Hubby enjoyed grouper fingers, with boiled red bliss potatoes and salad.They are very careful to not overcook fish. The fairly new owner made the rounds through the dining room, checking on his guests. Servers are friendly and do everything to make for a pleasant meal. Some renovations have been done since the new owners, looks fresher and brighter.

The food is amazing! Tastes very fresh. The gator bites with ranch dipping sauce is amazing along with the sweet and spicy shrimp. The staff is super friendly and helpful with recommendations. If you havent tried Harry's, you are missing out.

Drinks by Justin were amazing. Cody the waitress was very attentive. The food was great.

The service is so friendly and great at answering questions. Had the lobster and waffles which felt like such an amazing mashup of southern and seafood! Will absolutely be coming back!

Great staff, friendly and accommodating. Kayla was our server, she was great. Food was good and tasted fresh. Entree portions were adequate for adults, but small for teenagers, side portions were small.Prices were reasonable.

Had a great dinner here with friends from our of state. We were all impressed. Only negative was the long wait (almost 45 minutes), which made dinner much later than we had planned. But it was worth the wait, and the wait certainly was a reflection of the quality of the food. Among the four of us we had salmon, swordfish, seafood pasta and crab cakes. All were delicious! We also had deviled crab balls for an appetizer and key lime pie and chocolate cheesecake for dessert. Everything was delicious. Can't wait to go again.
